Details: Objective My objective is to find a position to teach Chinese language, where I can use my experience and skills to stimulate and educate children and at the same time, develop myself into a better teacher. Work Experience I am a Chinese female teacher who is currently teaching Chinese language at the middle school of Shijiazhuang city in the province of Hebei, China for the past four years. My students are aged 13 to 15 years old. I truly enjoy teaching with a great passion and strong responsibility, and enjoy communicating with my students and encouraging them to develop their virtues and talents. I believe in the old saying 'teaching benefits teachers as well as students'. In order to inspire the students?interest in Chinese, I give classes using a variety of teaching strategies, for example explaining a story with the children making their own individual illustration or intermezzo. I insist on the policy of studying in order to apply it, so I usually create various scenarios to allow them to keep practising their newly acquired knowledge, until they can use it expertly in their daily study and life. I usually introduce myself actively to students?parents and keep contacting with them either formally or informally ,and also, let parents know children’s good behavior or progress duly. Furthermore, I show my concern about children and their families on special days. Education ?I studied in the Chinese Department of Hebei Normal University from 1 September 1998 to 30 June 2002 and completed the 4 years undergraduate course. I duly graduated with a Bachelors degree in The Education of Chinese Language and Literature. The required courses included: Modern Chinese Language, Ancient Chinese Language, Chinese Contemporary Literature, Classical Literature, Foreign Literature, Composition, Pedagogy, Psychology, Teaching and Pedagogy, English Language, Computer Courses, and so on. The elective courses I undertook were: Research on Middle School Students?Compositions, Ancient Chinese Words, History of Chinese Poetry, Chinese Contemporary Literature, Female Literature, Western Literature Theory and Movie Aesthetics, and so on . ?My middle school education was in Chunhui Middle School of Handan Fengfeng. The courses included: Chinese Language, Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Politics, History, and so on. I was the commissary in charge of studies in the class from start to finish. ?Teaching Practice in 2001 ?Graduation Thesis in 2002 ?Second-degree Qualification Certificate of Junior School in 2003. Achievements ?Won the first place in school’s moral education papers contest in 2003 and 2006, and the second-degree in 2005 ?Won the second-degree in middle school teaching papers contest of Shijiazhuang city in 2005 ?Won the second-degree in Yuhua District oratorical contest in 2003 ?The outstanding individual of social practice in Shijiazhuang City in 2001 ?The third class scholarship from the department in 2001 ?The third class scholarship from the department in 2000 ?Won the first in the Chinese Department’s debate contest in 1999 ?Elected a |
