Details: To whom it may concern, My name is Marcus James Hurley. I am an Australian who has a deep knowledge of China and Asia. I have 10 years fulltime experience in teaching English and in that time I have built a solid reputation as an enigmatic and vibrant teacher who gets the results that are necessary for his students to progress in their studies. I believe that all students have the ability to learn, they just need help cultivating that ability. I believe teaching is a privilege and a serious profession. There are few other careers in which you have as great an effect on other people as you do in teaching. The responsibility is great and I take it very seriously. At the same time teaching can be fun and intellectually stimulating. I enjoy the experience, joy and wonder at seeing a young ingenuous mind finally understanding a new concept. I have had fantastic success with previous students whom have been under my instruction and I will continue striving to stimulate each student’s own desire to learn and seek knowledge.
