Details: My name is Ricardo Paes, I was born in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. I am currently working as an English teacher and an actor, until the end of the school term. I find a wide range of fulfilment in teaching, not just personal rewards but interpersonal and cultural rewards too; and so I have decided to further my training as a teacher and pursue an international career. Throughout the month of July I will be adding a CELTA course to my Proficiency in English certification. I will soon be travelling to Japan, where my partner has been placed recently, and I am looking for potential teaching jobs, especially in rural areas. I have a BA in Modern Dance, but I have also studied painting, earlier on; I have a european valid driver's license, a clean police record; one year experience as an English teacher, one year experience as a private tutor, as well as three years experience as a freelance translator; I have also worked as an actor for over a year too.
