From June 1971 until Feb. 1976, I have lived in Australia (Melbourne) where I attended Australian primary school for six months and 4 classes of high school. From Feb. 1976 up to the present, I live and work in Greece. PREVIOUS WORKING EXPERIENCE : From 1995 up to April 2010 I worked in the mechanical engineering and commercial company MICHAEL KETSIOGLOU, engaged in the central heating, plumbing and air conditioning business sector, specialising in REHAU underfloor heating solutions and water treatment. I was the administrator also managing the business on the owner’s frequent absence with both retail and package sales to architects, buiding contractors and individual clients, on-site supervising, exports, imports, generating quotations/offers and documentation, invoicing, bookkeeping, credit control and collecting, office administration and warehouse managing. During these years I have also developed very good buying- negotiating skills From 1992 and up to 1995 I have worked as an export manager in a Greek factory which produces car lifts and garage equipment. I was engaged in managing existing accounts, arranging their orders, taking care of shipment and shipping documents and also searching for new distributors and efforting to open new markets (without the conveniences of the internet services at that time). Thus we succeeded expediting exports to S. Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, S. Africa, Hungary and other countries. From 1986 up to1992 and for seven seasons I worked in hotels at Chalkidiki Greece, firstly as a waiter and maitre d'hotel, then as a bar manager, as a receptionist and for a small period of time I was in charge of a small hotel of 50 rooms. Because of the bad economic status in Greece, I am now unempoyed. |
