Details: I am a holder of a teaching certificate for the province of Manitoba, Canada. My university education consists of a Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Education. I am a native Ukrainian, born in Canada from parents born in Ukraine. I have developed my native first language skills at university with a minor in Ukrainian grammar/language. I have taught in public and private schools for 15 years and taught Ukrainian grammar and language for 20 years. I currently translate letters from Ukraine and translate biographies into English written by older pioneers. I have translated two books so far on a private basis, both of survivors of the concentration camps, labor and prison camps as well as military service in Europe. For books and letters I charge $10 per handwritten page and for books can have a CD version of the book done as well as paper copy. Sincerely, Mary Shurraw. |
