TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
TECHNOLOGY & TOOLS Right technology and tools help to improve our access to the learning resources as well as the efficiency of the language retention. In order to maximize the effectiveness of my lessons and learning programs, I utilize various computer tools and online resources during and after my lessons. These tools, which include online flash cards, interactive pronunciation practices, video comprehension programs, character-wri ting demonstration tools, vocabulary retention calculator etc, are essential for sustaining the momentum of the classroom learning. By utilizing these tools for learning, my students have greatly improved the vocabulary and language patterns memorization process through a particular system called "Spaced Repetition", which emphasizes the regular but quick repetitions of learning targets. GROWTH In intermediate to advanced levels, I incorporate knowledge of Chinese culture, custom, and social and professional etiq... |

I can help you learn fast and give you the keys you need. I can teach you slangs and as well as formal Portuguese. Also, I have traveled all over Brazil so if you need to learn a specific accent I am the right person for you.
I have created an extensive work of material for my lessons and I like to teach according to my students' needs, alternating between books and finding what works best for each person. Learning should be FUN! I like to include not only reading and writing exercises but also music (I play guitar and drums), videos, movies, etc. I believe learning a language involves much more than the language itself, it's the cultural experience that keeps people excited to learn!

Have you ever wondered why we sometimes cannot catches every word in a song we’re listening to? But after we read and recognize the lyrics, we understand the song better. My approach to helping students master Thai language is, first of all, reading. Because Thai language doesn’t have spaces between words within a sentence, a lot of students may find reading really difficult. And since students will not be learning the language like the way babies listen to their parents, it’s very important for students to read, recognize and understand written material first. Then I’ll have then listen to a spoken version of the same material. This is a technique I found when I was studying english. It helped speed up the listening progression in which results in better and faster progression of speaking. Once students are at a certain level that I see fit, I’ll will have them start creative writing. I do believe that languages are flexible, even the languages that have strict grammar. It’s crucial f... |

Following my step by step methods of learning Nepali language, my students quickly understand Nepali and start to speak general communication conversations easily. I use many examples and illustrations to teach Nepali so that students get interested, understand, and learned without any difficulties. |
