This job itself will let me help students learn English while they have fun at the same time. I want to teach in setting because I believe that some students do not really care much to learn, and I want to change that. I want them to care enough so that they will want to learn. I want them to care and enjoy learning Portuguese and English because I believe that it will be beneficial for them later on in their lives. Something I believe strongly in is that not only do the students learn, but the teacher also.
Learni ng Portuguese or English can be hard, but I believe that if you persevere and try your best, you can do it. I want my students to feel the same way, and the best way to touch and change as many students’ lives as possible is through this company. This job will allow me to meet as many students as I can and help make a difference their lives. I believe that there are four very important points for learning English quickly and effectively.
1) Knowing how to learn. I will teach you how to "learn" English so that you can become a better English user quickly.
2) Knowing your learning style. Everyone has a different learning style. Some people prefer to learn from books, some people from CDs, some people from writing out things. These are all different types of learning styles, but they might not be best for you. Do you know which learning style is best for you? In the first interview, I will ask you some questions so that we can help find your best learning style. I will then make all of lessons using that learning style so you can remember what you learn!
3) Motivation. Is it hard for you to stay motivated and wanting to study? I will review these things with you to help find your motivation. Also, we will set goals and tasks so that you can see that you are progressing in class.

I mainly use a one to one conversation, involving a flow of questions-ans wers involving equally the teacher and the student. This has a quick effect in the fluency of speaking and memory of both grammar and vocabulary.
Students can see the results of this method very quickly as their fluency improves considerably.

I would not like to use textbooks, but I would prefer to concentrate on the practical application of the language in context. Through repeated explanation of grammar and vocabulary, I think students will gradually and effortlessly gain fluency in natural sounding speech.
