I am mainly self taught, though I try to converse in Japanese with Exchange students once in a while. I can read Hiragana and a little bit of Katakana, but not kanji. However I do read a little bit of Chinese so I should be able to pick it up without much problem.
I would like to study and possibly work in Japan in the future so I am enthusiastic and determined. I prefer to have lessons with a small group, but one on one is fine too.
I currently work monday to friday, so I would prefer evening classes or sunday classes.

I have always been interested in the Russian language and culture. I can not currently speak or read/write in Russian. I would love to learn to speak it and if possible read and write in Russian. I have wanted to speak Russian for my whole life, my grandfather is a Russian Native and I visited Russia with him a couple years ago and felt more of a need to learn it since that experience. I would have to speak to a teacher and disscuss how much time I would need to dedicate in order to have enough practice as I am not aware of how much time it takes but I am open to whatever it takes. I am not currently seeking any particular qualities as this is very new to me and I am not sure what to expect.

I am a beginner in Russian. I have learned a little in Russian and I can read the Cyrillic alphabet, but all of this has been done through Russian people that I know or through teaching myself, which is not a very useful way of learning a language.
I would really love to learn Russian purely because it's useful to me as another language. I am not learning it for school or career advancement, I'd like to learn it so that I can better communicate with Russian people, and I plan on going to Russia to study one day in the future.
I have a lot of time, and so because of that I can give up a lot of time for lessons.
I would like a teacher who is friendly and talkative, but I also would like discipline as well, because it makes the language faster and easier to learn.
