I'm looking to have my daughter who is 4 learn Chinese Mandarin. She is a beginner, has never spoken the language. I am wanting her to learn the language for her own personal advancement. I would be willing to dedicate 4 hours a week to hear learning a new language. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is someone who is able to work with young children teaching them a new language.

I would like to learn Irish Gaelic because it is the language of my ancestors and I just love the Gaelic culture and music. I have been trying to learn a little on my own but I am basically a beginner. I would like to mainly be able to speak it and understand the grammar behind the most difficult aspects (lenitions and mutations are confusing to me still). Since, it is summer at the moment I have plenty of time to learn and I really really want to learn the language. As for teachers, I definitely need someone patient who can explain concepts clearly to me. More specifically, I want to learn the Ulster dialect since my family came from what is now Northern Ireland so I need a teacher from the North of Ireland.
