I have no experience with portuguese, but I am trying to communicate more proficiently with my Brazilian boyfriend and his family. He has some english training, which we are currently relying on quite heavily, but I would like to be able to reciprocate, and also to have the language skills to visit Brazil with him and be able to communicate while I am there. I am at a very beginner level. I'm learning the language because I am half-Persian and will be possbily visiting Iran in the near future. I want to focus on conversation, not grammar. I'm able to dedicate as much time as is recommendend preferably twice a week. I want a teacher that is nice and patient, someone who will really take the time to properly teach me the language.

I am at a intermediate level of spanish, I lived in Barcelona for a month and know enough to get by, I also have several books in spanish and try to study and read them as much as possible. I want to learn spanish because I love the language and intend to live in a spanish speaking country when I get older. Also, learning another language can be very challenging and of course, fun. I would like to dedicate at least one night a week to my spanish lessons. I would like my teacher to be fun and patient.
