I am a beginner in Italian. I want to learn this language because my husband's family is italian. We have 3 small children and I would like them to learn the language also. I would like to have tutoring once a week with myself and my children. very much a beginner, I want to understand things better in my husbands faith, but I do not want to learn it from the Urdu perspective.
I need a teacher who is very patient with me, because I am slow but once I get it, I can go far. As for the time I want to dedicate to my lessons, I want 30mins daily in on-line classes Monday thru Friday and one to two hours of practice, it may be less once I am more proficient. I would like to have emailed to me work sheets of my writing and reading lessons. I have a fax machine but no scanner at the moment.
I believe my teacher should be kind, understanding , empowering to me, but most of all will enjoy me and be excited when I finally understand and do things correctly. I had taken some Qur'an Reciting basics, but they were from an Urdu basis, and the essence of ideas could not be given to me exactly. I want to learn and understand.

I am at a beginner level, i.e. basically do not know anything about the language but I am very eager to learn so that I can converse with friends. I am not sure what time committment I would require in order to progress at a decent pace, therefore my time committment would be open for discussion with my prospective teacher. I would like my teacher to be understanding to my needs and would have the patience to teach me basically from scratch.
