I am a beginner, I am learning this language because my partner and his family speak it, and I am going to Poland to meet them in the fall and would like to speak with them and understand them. I can dedicate an hour a week in person, and then homework time.
I am looking for a nice, patient teacher with experience who can teach me more colloquial, spoken polish, then proper written grammar. Ideally, by the end of it, I would like to be able to read basic polish, and be able to have a conversation.

I am a begginer in russian. I wish to learn russian to assist in doing business in the eastern bloc. As a begginer I need help in all areas. I wish to spend 1 to 2 hours per week on in person instruction and then min 15 to 20 minutes per day with my rosetta stone learning program. I will be taking lessons with my 16 year old son. We have taken one introductory session at continuing education and now wish to have the benifit of a more tailored approach that can match our individual learning speeds.
