Hi,
I am a Canadian engineer in construction in Calgary, Canada. I am 47yo, single, no children. I want to move 9-12 months to China. I am fluent in: French, English, Spanish and basic Russian.
I am looking for a full time mandarin teacher in China. Someone who will be with me 8 hours/day, teaching me mandarin in my apartment after classes and go out with me: movies, park, travel in China.... visiting and correcting my mandarin pronunciation , writing... . I only have 1 year and I want to know perfectly mandarin after 1 year.
Also , I need this teacher to be able to help me out with finding me an apartment, and set my trip in China.

I know a little bit of Cantonese, but not enough to understand or carry on a conversation. I would like to learn so that I can communicate with my girlfriend's family. I would like to learn some basic vocabulary, but also need to understand the grammar. I would like to have 1 or 2 hours a week of lessons, preferably starting in May, but will start sooner as well.

Hello,
I speak French, English, Spanish fluently. I started learning Italian about 4 months ago while living in South Korea with an Italian teacher there. I now can read Italian well enough and can wacth Italian movies and get the gist of what is being said. I am not very accurate with Italian, but would like to be. I want to improve my oral proficiency. My objective i to speak Italian well enough to have general conversations - I am not reeally concerned with exact accuracy (grammar). Everyday language is much more important to me. I was a language teacher myself for 11 years, so I am looking for someone who is wiling to adjust their teaching style to my learning style. I would like to spend two hours a week on my online classes. I use skype with many of my clients and would love to use Skype for my Italian classes too. I love languages and people and am very friendly, so would hope to work with someone with a good sense of humour and lot of different interests.

I am a beginner in the french language, had some schooling in earlier years of public school and high-school but have lost all knowledge. I am interested in learning the language for travel and social purposes. Knowing french would benefit my future for advancement in a career orientated focus.
