I am looking for a qualified teacher As Soon As Possible to help me with Hindi.
I want to become proficient in Hindi, firstly speaking it, and secondly learning how to read and write, I will be moving to India for study/work for a prolonged period before mid 2009 so I want to dedicate the next 3-4 months to acquire these skills.
As this is a priority for me, I would like to have study sessions with a Teacher at least 3 time a week and will make time in my schedule that suits both of us.
I am currently located in Surrey, would prefer a teacher close by, but will be happy to travel if necessary.
I am quite familiar with the Hindi language being of Indian/Gujara ti origin, I have also been watching Hindi Films/TV and listening to music to increase my vocabulary, but as I have no one to speak Hindi with it gets quite difficult to practice.
I would really be happy and grateful if I could find a great teacher to help me achieve this goal!

Bonjour,
mo n copain, avec qui je suis depuis un an et demi, est d'origine cambodgienne et j'aimerais pouvoir m'intégrer plus facilement dans les éventuelles rencontres et fêtes familiales. Je voudrais lui faire cadeau d'une certaine connaissance de sa langue maternelle, c'est pourquoi je ne veux pas trop pratiquer avec lui pour l'instant... Je préfèrerais le surprendre après avoir d'abord assimilé une base...
Je ne suis encore qu'une débutante dans cette langue, mais je voudrais m'y mettre sérieusement maintenant. Je serais intéressée par un cours en personne, mais ça peut aussi être via l'ordinateur. Je suis étudiante à l'université et serais prête à mettre 2 ou 3 heures par semaine à la pratique.

To whom it may concern,
I am eager to learn the polish language as I work for and am closely involved with a polish family, some of whom do not speak much english. Also, my late grandparents were Polish and wanted me to learn to speak the language, but they passed away several years ago.
Living with a polish family has, of course, given me a little experience in using the language but I feel that some type of structured lesson would help me advance more quickly.I am still a beginner- I have learned quite a bit of vocabulary and can form many simple sentences ( eg: 'I am really hungry', 'What do you want for breakfast?' etc.) I feel I've gotten stuck now, in trying to make more complex sentences and especially how verbs and words conjugate and must all work together- very confusing!
I am not particular about how much time I spend in lessons- I feel the lessons are necessary however I am also trying to speed the learning process by corresponding with polish-speaki ng 'pen pals' via the internet, which takes up some of the time I have to spend on this activity.
I am open to ideas as far as how this will work.
