My name is Trecia, and I will be a first-year engineering student at the University of Calgary this fall.
I would like to learn Russian because I would like to work in Russia in the future and the Russian language fascinates me. I would consider myself a beginner, but I'm a fast learner and very motivated. I need help with speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. I would like to have a two hour lesson once a week or every other week, depending on my schedule.
As a ELS volunteer tutor myself, I am looking for a teacher who is intelligent, patient, and charismatic!
I prefer a teacher who is calm and not overly energetic. I want a focused teacher who will use time wisely and knows how to deliver the information I need in the most effective manner. Also, I would prefer to work in a small group rathar than one-on-one because I feel the classes are more entertaining and I can absorb the material better.

Hello,
I am interested in learning French because i like learning new things and mainly because I have a desire to speak multiple languages. It also offers the potential to open up new opportunities with careers. I have taken french lessons from grade 1 - 9 but would say I am at the beginner level still. I would like to improve on all aspects of the language (grammar and conversation) and am looking at spending 2-4 hours per week in the evenings for lessons.
