Hola, mi nombre es Cheryl. Quiero aprender español porque me gusta viajar a México y Sud America. Lo siento, es necesario escribir en ingles ahora.
I have a basic knowledge of the language, but I have not progressed to the point where I can have a meaningful conversation, as I am mostly limited to the present tense. I can usually manage to make myself understood in pathetic, fractured 'Spanglish', but I have difficulty understanding the language when it is spoken to me. I need to practise speaking and to develop my comprehension skills. I would prefer a private tutor, but if that proves to be too cost prohibitive, then I would like a smaller class size of maybe 5 or 6 students. I work 4 days a week, so I would only be available on Wednesdays during the day, but any evening(s) would be fine also.
I am looking for a teacher that has some experience teaching and who will follow a logical, progressive lesson plan. Is there someone out there that would be willing to help me get to the next level? Lo espero.
