Interested in taking Mandarin lessons and learning about Chinese culture - for business and leisure. I am considering classes 1-2 times a week and have three other friends who would like to learn with me.
I am looking for someone fun and flexible of is a native speaker of the Mandarin language. I would appreciate someone with good spoken English as well, because I feel it is important for the instructor to be able to easily explain the different subtleties and nuances of the language and culture.

Hello,
I am a 37 year old chiropractor who wants to learn Vietnemese. My wife is Vietnemese and we are planning to travel to Vietnam for 6 weeks April 2008. I would like to learn conversationa l Vietnemese for this trip as well as to be able to speak to our children and her father (his english is poor). I completed 9 years of post-secondar y education and am a quick study - very eager to learn. I live in Whitby (20 minutes east of Scarborough)a nd would like private lessons. I own my own business and am very busy. I would consider meeting somewhere between Toronto and Durham for the lessons. I look forward to any and all responses.

I am a beginner student wanting to learn my heritage language. I don't really know any finnish besides a few basics, so I'd like to start from the beginning.
