I am a beginner in Sanskrit.
I can read Hindi scripts, but my grammar and vocabulary are poor. Sanskrit seems very close to Hindi in its written form, so this might be an advantage for me.
I want to learn Sanskrit for Veda studies. I believe much of its meaning is lost in translation. I would like to read in the original form.
I'd like to develop my vocabulary and grammar.
I would dedicate 2 hours/week towards learning Sanskrit.
My ideal lesson would have a steady pace, use of examples from texts, less concerned with conversationa l Sanskrit, more intent on picking up reading skills and vocabulary.
