I am a low intermediate learner of Russian, who has been studying inconsistentl y for many years. Spent 4 months in Russia, at which time I developed a fairly good pronunciation and understanding of the language, but I lost most of these skills since then.
My work would benefit from a fluent Russian, especially conversation and listening skills, including colloquial languages. I also study the language for personal interest, i.e. Russia is my big passion in life.
I am looking for lessons in person, 1 to 2 hours a week, focusing on conversation, while I can study the rest at home on my own time.
I would look like a teacher who is open-minded, discrete, challenging, supportive and friendly, and hopefully who likes to talk about Russia or russian language.

I am a low intermediate mandarin student looking for private one on one lessons Monday Wednesday and Friday at about 530pm. I live in downtown Vancouver, close to English Bay and would like to have meetings around there. I am looking for 1 -1.5 hours depending on the teacher.
I really want to learn conversationa l chinese, my listening and speaking are very poor and I lack confidence.
