I am at an Intermediate level. I am going on a mission trip to Quito, Ecuador in June and want to be able to speak better before I go. I need practice listening to someone speak Spanish and trying to answer them correctly.
I work in downtown Calgary. If you are free during the day, I could come during my lunch hour. Saturday mornings are also good for me.
I am willing to dedicate quite a bit of time to my lessons between now and mid June to be ready for the trip.

I am a beginner in Mandarin Chinese, having been exposed to the language and Chinese culture in my workplace.
I would like to learn to speak Chinese because I think it is one of the most beautiful and expressive languages, and also because someday, I would like to visit China and would like to be able to communicate in the native language.

Beginner, just came back from my first vacation there and am seriously considering moving, will go for another vacation for sure and would like to speak as much Tagalog as possible. Possibly 2 to 3 nights a week of learning. No specific qualities in the teacher are necessary other than teaching me to speak and understand Tagalog so I can communicate in full sentences for my next trip.
