I am just beginning to learn Japanese. I am learning the language for travel and personal interest purposes and am looking to improve in all areas of the language. I am at the beginner level. My husband and I are travel around the worl (except South America and Australia) in the Spring of 2008 and desire to learn two languages before we leave for this trip. I am unsure if it will be one or two of us. I would like to learn for approx. 2 days a week for 2 hours at a time for a total of 4 hrs/week. I would like an instructor who would give me positive critcism, with honesty and enthusiasm. I would like them to help with my pronunciation , accent, and basic language, correcting as we go. I have never spoke another language (I took French lessons but did not do too well). So the teacher would also have to be patient. Thank you for your time.
