R eason for learning - I will be relocating to Taiwan in about 2 years and I would like to know a good amount of their national language before moving there.
Tim e to dedicate - Right now, I would like to spend about 8 hours a week. Anytime between Monday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm.
Type of teach I'm looking for - I would prefer someone who is between the ages of 23-29 years, just because it is closer to my age and I would feel more comfortable that way. A male or female is okay. I would like to learn in a fun way, like getting out and learning the outside environment, that kind of stuff.

I am a currently searching to learn Japanese. So really, I am a beginner, as my skills are small. When it comes to languages, I am a fast learner.
I am learning Japanese because I have friends who are Japanese (internationa l students) and I am planning to spend two weeks in Japan in the summer of 2007. Also, I want to teach English in Japan once I graduate.
I would say that I need improvement in all areas (beginner, as I said).
I am willing to dedicate a 1-2 hours a day learning Japanese, as I have work and school to also commit to.
I would like my teacher to be patient and kind. Someone who is willing to teach me, and will be able to give me the skills I require.

I am a beginner in Japanese langauge. I would like to learn Japanese because we have ran a homestay program in the past mostly for Japanese and Korean students. One student in particular stayed with us for 2 years and I consider her to be family. I just recently got back from Japan to visit her and her family and I consider then to be my second family. I would learn Japanese so I could speak to my family without an interpreter and also I would like to go and teach english in Japan in the future. I am willing to have 2 hour language lessons a week. The qualities I am looking for in an instructor is dedication and knowledge of Japanese language but also the culture.

Hi I am looking for spanish classes. I lived in Spain for a year so I have an intermediate to a pre-advanced level. I would like to keep my level in Spanish high because I will be going to spanish immersion in UVIC May 2007. I would love to take classes twice a week. I am looking at more conversation but grammer is oviously important.
