I have completed part 1 of a Introduction to Mandarin course in University and need help to continue my studies in part 2 of the course. I have chosen to learn Mandarin because it intrests me to communicate with people of different nations. As Mandarin is the second most spoken language in the world, I thought it is a great language to learn. I require improvement in most aspects of Mandarin, pronounciatio n, writing, grammer and conversation. I hope to travel to China one day and would love to be able to communicate efficiently. Because I work during the week I am looking for a tutor on the weekends, preferably a 1 hour session early saturday afternoon. I have all the course materials already, but need someone to help teach it to me. I would prefer someone who is fluent in English and Mandarin who has lived in China in the past.

I need to understand the advantages of taking course from/through your organization comapre to the courses being offered by Colleges.
I need to present the whole program, including total cost, for my employer's approval.

Hello,
I have recently started a career as a Real Estate Salesperson in Whistler. I feel that it would be a great benefit for me to learn to speak either Mandarin or Cantonese so that I may communicate more effectively with potential clients. Perhaps you might be able to direct me a little as far as which language is more widely spoken and how similar the two are. Conversation would be my focus. I think that live, in person lessons would probably enhance my learning ability but I'm flexible seeing as I live over an hour from Vancouver.

Have very general and basic knowledge of Korean language, and would like to build up to intermediate level. Would also like to learn to read and write, for career advancement.
One to two lessons a week (1.5 - 3hrs a week)
Woul d like a teacher who has good understanding of the culture, business culture amongst Koreans, and can also assess my abilities and build on that. I am of Korean descent, born in Seoul, but lost a lot of the language being raised in Canada.
