I am a beginner in the Dutch language. I am a third generation Canadian, and I would like to learn Dutch for fun, because I am interested in the Dutch culture, and because I want to go to the Netherlands in the future on exchange, and be at a workable level in the language at that point. I am able to dedicate a night or two per week to learning. I feel that the biggest hurdle I face is the ability to form the proper sounds that are required to speak the language.

-I was recently in Japan as an exchange student for 5 months, actually returned in mid-january
-know basics of japanese conversation, equivalent to level 4 profiency exam. Can also read and write katakana and hiragana.
-driven to learn japanese to speak with new family from japan, as i speak to my own, in my native tongue.
-hop e to recieve 4 hours/week language lessons
-i am looking for a dedicated teacher to help me reach my goal of becoming proficient in japanese conversation, reading, writing, you name it.
