I am currently enrolled in arabic 1000 in York University. It is supposed to be a beginning to the arabic language but I am finding it quite difficult. It is taught in the standard arabic langauge and my parents use a different dialect at home when speaking to me. I am half way throught the course and need quite a bit of help in the grammer field but also would like to continue learning even once the class has been completed.

Hello,
I can speak punjabi fluently but I've found in recent because of lack of use, my skills are decreasing and I struggle to make proper sentences. I would like to improve my conversationa l proficieny and possibly learn the basics of the written language. I am looking to spend about 1-2 hours a week over a couple of months. My husband and I looking to learn spanish. We live west of Ottawa. We are in Carp/Stittsvi lle/Almonte area. We are looking to begin in March and continue for about 8 to 10 weeks depending on our progress. We would like to take the lessons in person. We have a community center so we could arrange to have more people attend to make it more fun.
