Looking to learn Chinese. I'd prefer to learn Mandarin as its more widely spoken, however I'm not too sure of how different it is from Cantonese.
Looking to learn primarily for career advancement.
Ideally I could commit two nights a week, or one full day on the weekend.
I would be starting from square one and understand it is a very difficult language to learn.
Qualities in a teacher would be patience. I do not have a car, so ideally I need something downtown Toronto.

Our daddy's heritage language is hindi. Very motivated students with some knowledge of hindi and exsposure to the culture and language.

My proficiency level is a beginner.
I would like to learn to speak hindi fluently for career advancement.
I would like to improve in the areas of both grammar and conversation.
I would like to dedicate atleast 2 hours per week for this purpose.
I am looking for a teacher who is friendly as well as knowledgeable and who has had some past experience with teaching this language.
My main purpose for seeking a teacher here is to make sure that at the end of my classes I will be able to speak the language and hold a conversation.

I am just a beginner of the Italian language.
I am planning a trip to Italy in the fall and would like to learn 'conversation al Italian'. Enough to be able to understand and communicate with others.
I would like to spend 1-2 days of the week to this program.

I have a strong desire to learn to speak Bahasa Malayu becauase I lived in Kuala Lumpur for 7 years, and only learned a small amount, some phrases and greetings, etc. I want to learn for more career opportunities , as eventually I would like to become an interpreter. I hope to go back to Malaysia soon and I would love to be able to speak more of the language. I would need help in all aspects, grammar, conversation, etc. Due to the fact that I am a stay at home mother, I regret that I cannot dedicate a large amount of time to learn, but I would be prepared to commit to anywhere from 3-7 hours a week. Its not much, but it is a start. In a teacher, I would hope to have someone that is patient and really knows and loves what they're teaching. Someone who has a passion for what they're doing, and tries to make it a rewarding experience for the student.
