I am a beginner,
and I want to learn Hungarian to make a surprise to my boyfriend, it is his first language, so to be able to have a conversation.

I can read the arabic language well in the Qur'an and generally, but my goal is to learn the arabic language to its core and understand it while i am reading it. This is what i want to concentrate on, understanding the language, this is my aim, and i will strive to understand it since i have a solid base to start off.

I can only understand very few words in punjabi and cannot read or write it. My goal is to speak and understand punjabi first and then be able to write and read it. I can mostly understand a converstion in punjabi since it is similiar to Urdu.
I am willing to dedicate some hours on the weekends before the summer and almost full weekends and evenings in the summer for both languages. A one-on-one lesson, or a class is suitable for me but not online/phone or any other indirect way.

I am a first generation Canadian born to Austrian parents. When I was growing up, german was used less and less in my home and this coupled with the fact that I left home young has made me lose whatever german I once possessed.
I have always wanted to become fluent in the language and now I am more determined than ever. I am going to Vienna in August to see my heritage and where my deceased mother grew up. I would like to be able to communicate with my relatives so I can truly research every aspect of my background and be able to clearly understand them.

I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and spoke the language till I was 8 years old. My objective is to re-learn portuguese so that i am able to work in Brazil. The area that I most feel is most needed- assistance is daily communication s.
I have about 1 or 2 days in person or 3-4 days via e-mail, internet.
The quality(ies) that i believe would best serve me in a teacher is someone who has lived in Brazil, understand Sao Paulo dialect,and has business sensibilities in terms of language. These are preferences only.
