I recently visited Costa Rica and found it to be a country I would consider for retirement. I would like to learn the spanish language for conversationa l purposes. I know absolutley no spanish at all.I am sixty years of age and would be retiring in about eight months. I'm interested in languages, and I just started learning german in my former country (mexico) 3 months ago, now I'm back and living in Toronto, and want to continue with it. I'm planing to go to Germany in about 2 years and stay there for 6 months, and I woldn't like to have complications with the language :(, anyway, I'm beginner.
I can dedicate a kind of part-time for lessons, everything depends of my activities but we can talk about it, about the teacher, I really prefer a male teacher, I'm easy learning, so, I'll wait for an answer :)!.

Dear Sir,
I recently bought a Arabic book on how to write Arabic and I bought Pimsleur CDs to learn Eastern Arabic and I find it very helpful to learn except I need to learn how to speak, read and write Arabic more fluently. I also bought Vocabulearn Arabic which is the dialect from Saudi Arabia. Do you mind me asking what part of the Arab world are you from ? Can we somehow do this like correspondenc e, if not. Do you know an Arabic school in Vancouver or Calgary that can teach me the language ?
