I do not speak any Czech... But I want to do my master's degree in fine art at VUT in Brno, and I want to do it all in Czech.
I need a lot of help I guess.
I think the main thing I can think of that would help me is to read a lot and have some help on that end (I've taught people french by having them read the poemes of Jacques Prévert)... also with pronounciatio n... and whatever you don't get from musing in a dictionary and a collection of books.
If possible I would like to perform a trade. Either a language trade (my first language is French) or another sort of trade... I've done some web stuff, do a lot of video and sound work. I would rather do a trade, but I would also be happy to pay.

To who might be interested,
i'm looking to find portuguese lessons, spoken and written, i am beginners level but speak spanish fluently. I would prefer to have the courses in a small group, once or twice a week, starting september 2004. My need comes from personal interest in this beautiful language and the interest of enriching my abilities. We just recently moved to Quebec City. I have 3 Children ages 14,16,and 16. We need instruction in speaking french for conversation and correct grammar. There would be 5 of us learning. None of us speak any French so we are definately beginners. We would like to learn to adapt to our new culture. About 6-8 hrs weekly.
Qualities : Fun, patient instructor. Practical usage to enable us to communicate and understand those around us.
