salam my name is Shazia and is wanting to learn the urdu language. I am of black carribean nationality and my husband of 7yrs is pakistani and speaks urdu, i need urdu lessons so we can communicate by speaking urdu rather then english all the time.
I would need to learn from the beginning as i only no how to count 1-10 and some basic words like hello, good bye, how are you and so on. I think i would progress more and be more sucessfull if i was to learn face to face and would like to study twice a week.
I would like my teacher to know how to speak urdu fluently and to have special qualities in knowing how to teach people and to have some previous experience in teaching.

Im half filipino half english. Growing up with my mother, i never really embrased the filipino side of my family and now i want to catch up on the things that ive missed. I can understand basic tagalog more than i can speak, mostly basic conversation etc. i want to dedicate a few hours each week at least to learning. I want to learn Icelandic as I have hopes of being able to move there in the not too distant future. I already regularly holiday there, but it would be extremely useful to improve upon my very basic Icelandic skills in order to further converse with locals.
I am a beginner in learning Icelandic and would be keen to learn everything from the very basics upwards. I am particularly interested in learning conversationa l Icelandic.
I am willing to dedicate at least 5-6 months learning initially, with the potential to extend.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient but also firm in their approach, and am hoping for gentle progression in my learning as lessons progress.
