My proficiency level is beginner. I can understand a few basic written sentence, but that's about it. I'm wanting to learn Norwegian to allow me to study at University level in Norway, and therefore am wanting to learn it as well and as quickly as I can. My fiance is egyptian, i know very basic arabic but want to learn more, so i can have a conversation with his family, of whom speak very little english, instead of doing sign launguage and grabbing my phrase book every 5minutes. my fiance he speaks good english and helps me as much as he can, but i need to learn by talking to people not out of a book or cd as i find this hard for me.
