I want to learn Punjabi for family reasons. I have married into a Punjabi family and have been studying the language on my own, however I do think I could progress faster with a dedicated teacher.
I would consider my proficiency level to be beginner. I have a basic understanding of the language after doing some self teaching courses online.
I mostly want to improve my confidence in conversation and grammar.
I would like to spend at least 3-4 days a week for 1 hour per lesson learning my new language.
The qualities I am looking for most in my teacher is that they would be comfortable teaching to a native English speaker, be able to teach to a beginner, and be able to assess my level of proficiency so as to teach me accordingly.

I would like to learn the Turkish language because I am dating someone who is Turkish and would really like to learn. I am a beginner, so I would need to start from the ground up and learn the basics. I want to accomplish an understanding in the writing as well as speaking.
