I am 22 years old of Italian descent, yet I can barely speak a word of my own language. I realize it is a little late to start now, but I really want to learn how to speak Italian so I can surprise my grandmothers and be able to have a conversation with them in their own native language. I am able to commit to one day a week (preferebly a weekend) for as long as needed. I need a patient teacher who can make learning Italian fun. I really want to learn, and am willing to put in all the effort required

I am interested in learning to speak Portuguese because my fiance is from Portugal and would like to be able to communicate with his family without the need of him translating, I would also like to be fluent in the language so that when I have children they too can share in a second language.
I can understand some of the conversations that I am around; however I am limited to what I can respond with. I mostly know general conversation Eg: Hi, how are you? etc. I can count to 10 and that is about as far as I have gotten.
I am will to dedicate as much time as possible to learning the language.
I am looking for a teacher that uses different ways to teach and to keep the lessons fun and interesting and one that takes the time to make sure that the information is truly being understood and not judging the student.
