I'm taking a trip to Ukraine to meet my father and siblings. It was my, let's say first-and-a-h alf language as I grew up speaking both Ukrainian and English. However, for some reason at the age of eight I decided to rebel and speak only English. In retrospect- bad move.
Anyw ay, I've lost most of it. My vocabulary is probably less than 100 words at this point. I think my accent is probably still decent- but I'd like to be able to have at least a rudimentary understanding of it because I'm unsure of how long I'll be staying. And, you know, it'd be kind of nice to talk to my family. Or whatever. No big deal.

I used to live in Japan, and I studied in Italy for a semester and took basic Italian. I want to maintain both languages while here in Toronto. I am originally from British Columbia and I am currently in Cambridge, Ontario, I have been studying Mandarin for two years and I have tons of studying resources, I have spoken a bit of Mandarin.
