I am learning spanish because I love the language and I would like to move to latin america. I am a beginner. I would like to know the grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate at least 16 hours a week in learning spanish. I would like to have a teacher that is nice, fun, outgoing, and good a explaining things.

I would like to learn Japanese because it is extremely foreign to me. I have read and heard much of Japanese culture and would love to learn to interpret it for myself. I have studied journalism in college in English but i have never learned any Japanese formal or otherwise. I would like to be able to travel to japan and speak comfortably. I would like to learn to write kanji (i think.) I am able to dedicate two hours every day to studying if i am so inspired. I would love if someone could teach me not only language but understanding of the culture as well.

Hello,
I have been very interested in the Japanese language and culture for many years now and would absolutely love to learn the language. I cannot think of anything more satisfying than to be able to communicate with people of a different country, and so I am certainly dedicated to learning. In the future knowing Japanese is likely to help the career choice I have planned out as well.
Righ t now I am only a small portion into learning the basics of the language. So far I have learned only Hiragana and Katakana to a point that I would deem useable, with a little bit of sentence structure and core understanding involved. It is all self taught though, which is why I desire some formal instruction on the more complicated structures of the language. (Grammar in particular)
Until the end of June I am tied up with finishing my senior year of school but after that my time is much more open for use. During the summer I would love to spend as much time as possible learning as now I can hardly dedicate more than an hour or two a day.
P.S. I currently live in Vulcan which is situated an hour north of Lethbridge, and an hour and a bit south of Calgary. Both of those cities and any in-between (High River, Okotoks, ect) are within my range.
