Hi, My name is Johnny and I am interested in furthering my conversationa l skills in Hindi. I studied Hindi for 8 years in an Indian School, but that was over 15 years ago. I have not spoken or used the language since and now I wish to take up the language again and become conversationa lly proficient. I can read and write about 80-90%, understand 50-60% (I watch Hindi movies without subtitles and can follow along most of what's happening), but I can speak only 10-20%. Basically I am looking for a tutor to offer me conversationa l lessons and practise so that I can gain confidence and become proficient. Thanks

Hi my name is Dan and I am interested in learning Spanish. I have traveled to Mexico numerous times and I have met a girl there. Her English is medicore and her family doesn't know any English at all. So I want to be able to bridge the communication gap by learning Spanish myself. The reason I am interested in learning Vietnamese is because I wish to be able to communicate with fiance's family, therefore I would like to concentrate my learning to strengthen my communication skills. I am very new to the language with no prior knowledge. I am willing to dedicate 2 to 3 hours per day for lessons. I am a Masters student in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Guelph. I am interested in learning Middle Eastern Arabic to further my interest in the Middle East and to help assist in my studies. I would be at a beginner level in grammar and conversation. Well, I come from a greek background (my father is greek) and I went to greek school throughout elementary, however over the last few years I have noticed that I am not as fluent as I used to be. This makes it difficult for me to properly communicate with my relatives therefore I would like to take advanced greek lessons to help me get back to being fluent in greek. What I really want to learn is the conversation aspect since I remember fairly weel how to write and read. I would like to have at least 1 lesson a week, however this would have to be discussed with the tutor so we can determine together how much I would need to learn. I just want my tutor to be very knowledgeable in greek, to be able to write and speak very well.
