Hello,
My wife and I are looking to take lessons in french for something to do as a hobby. We are looking to take a class once a week or possibly twice at most as we both have challenging careers. We would like to begin by learning basic speaking and understanding . WE DO NOT wish to begin writing until we are comfortable with the speaking and understanding .
We have both completed basic french in Ontario education system, but feel we are beginners at best. We would like to do this as an activity together so we can practice speaking with eachother at home.
We are looking for a teacher who will come in and speak french with us and teach us in an environment where she corrects and forces us to speak the language. Someone friendly and patient would be a few good qualities.

The reason I have approached Language-Scho ol-Teachers site is I have an adopted son since the age of 18 months, for which his birth grandmother lives in Kaito Greece. My son is now 14 years of age and is handicapped with A.D.D. we have visited his grandmother a couple of times the past few years. Her english knowledge is limited, she understands more when spoken to compared to the amount of english she could speak.
My communication skills being difficult with the relatives, friends, and local merchants of Kaito. I was able to get around on basis english, as well with a few words in Greek, self-taught from a CD and learn to speak booklet.
My goal is to be able to understand and join in the conversation during
family gatherings as well as communicate while visiting Greece.
We are planning on returning to Kaito this coming summer and to have some basic Greek added to my current limited vocabulary.
Idealy for me to learn Greek over the next couple of months during spare time whether in the evenings and/or a few hours on Saturday.

Hello,
I would like to learn to speak conversationa l Kannada. I visited Karnataka this winter for 2 months and am planning to return. I would like to be able to converse with the local people and to make shopping and getting around easier.
