I wish to learn chinese and vietnamese because I have been practicing gongfu for over ten years with a vietnamese teacher and have started to learn traditional chinese medecine.
I have always been drawn to asian culture, and I believe that knowing the language is a big part of understanding a culture!
I am a beginner, have tried a book with cd method, and Mandarin beginner 10 lessons las fall.
I wish to be able to speak and read, will find time for weekly classes, and am ready for doing so over the next few years.

I am an intermediate/ advanced learner who needs to improve her dutch wwritten skills. I want to do this inorder to ready myself for the corporate world in the netherlands, as i plan to move there. I am willing to dedicate 1-2 times a week for this. I currently have alot of time off, and have always wanted to learn new languages. I did take french emersion growing up, although it's probably quite rusty! I do frequently visit spanish speaking countries, and know some of the more common phrases, but thought I would start there, then see what else intrests me! It would be nice to take a class or private lesson maybe a couple of times a wk, and other then an instructor who isn't mean, and speaks the language, I wouldn't really know what else to look for!

I want to learn korean because i like their culture and writing and language (how it sounds). My level is beginner because i have never spoke korean. The areas i really need to work on is grammar,talki ng,reading and etc.Iwant to spend at least 1 hour ( or more) of learning korean and 3-4 times a week. I would really like that a teacher can be korean also because it will help me to get use to talking fast and i will understand him/her faster:)
