Hi,
I have been chosen to work for the Olympics in January 2010 and before I leave I would like to take some Spanish classes for the upcoming month. Is it possible to learn the 'basic' of the language in a month? If possible, I would like to know how much it is per hour and how many hours would you recommend per week?

I am interested in passing level 2 of the JLPT.
I think my Japanese level is probably intermediate. I am not really confident in any area, so I am going to need help with grammar, listening, writing and speaking.
I want to take 2 classes a week, one hour per class.
I'm looking for a teacher who is kind, and will forgive me when I make mistakes, someone who I can feel comfortable with. I need someone that will prepare some quizzes or tests every class to make sure I am on track, and will give me constructive criticism on what I need to work on.

I am really interested in Japan itself because of its interesting culture and history and life style.I really would like to visit japan in the future and maybe even teach english there after i graduate from university. I became drawn to the country and language through my friends and watching japanese tv shows,dramas and music, art and books. then i decided to purchase a phrase book because the language by then has grown on me but i later found the phrase book wasn't enough so i tried the teach yourself books and cd's and audio tapes but it wasn't really working out for me so thought actually getting a teacher would help me alot because i am determined in learning the language. i think i would like to work more on speaking the language then learning the kanjii, also i think i'd have a harder time with the grammar its confusing to me from what i have learned so far and i would have to say that im a beginner but i would really like to end up being fluent in the language.

I love languages, I am fluent in french and at an intermediate level in spanish. I have done extensive traveling and have met many German travelers, it is the next language I would like to learn.
I am a beginner.
I need improvement in it all.
I would like to dedicate 2hrs-4hrs per week.
I am looking for an instructor who is fluent in the language, has exercises I can do, who will give me homework and who's lessons are not too expensive. (My spanish lessons were 18$ for 2hrs.)
