Hello,
I'm searching for someone to teach me Ukrainian. I just returned from a vacation in L'Viv, Ukraine and absolutely fell in love with the country. I'm hoping to return next year and I think the experience would be even better if I could speak/ understand the language.
A friend of mine (who I travelled with) was born in Ukraine and speaks/ writes the language fluently - as it is her native language. She of course would help tutor me along the way; however she has somewhat little patience when it comes to my pronunciation of some of the words/ phrases.
I would say that I am a beginner and know over a dozen words/ phrases. (e.g. Hello, how are you doing, thank you, cheers, your welcome, beer, washroom …etc) While in Ukraine, everyone told me I caught on extremely well and I spoke with little accents.
I work Mon- Friday from 8:30 - 5pm. I'm hoping to have a 1 hour long sessions, twice a week. They would have to be in the evenings, anytime after 6:30 pm. I am on a budget, therefore am not looking to be 100% fluent in Ukrainian, I would more so just like to be taught the basics and be able to understand a conversation.
Primarily, what I'm looking for in a tutor is someone who can teach me the language efficiently and in a timely matter, as I am on a budget (as mentioned).

Hello,
I would be a beginner in Portuguese. I know some random words and have been surrounded by Angolans and Brazil for a great part of my life.
My main goal is to speak Portuguese, if I can write even better, but the priority is talking.
The qualities I would like on my teacher is that he/she is dedicated, can help me pursue my objective (speak the language) and motivate me to improve.

I would like to learn German for social conversation purposes.
I have never spoken, nor read it before.
I would like to dedicate one class per week to learning German, as I am a university student.
Hop efully, my teacher is patient, easy-going, flexible, with a good sense of humor, as laughing and enjoying myself is the best way for me to learn. Although the course should still be professional and comprehensive .
As a side note, I have a friend of the same age who would also like to join.
She too has no knowledge of German.
So the lesson would be for the two of us.

My level is a beginner.
I am learning this language because I have always been interested and wanted to learn it as an extra language.
I want to dedicate at least a lesson per week.
The qualities I am looking for in my lesson would be to be able to communicate and understand in a short time as possible. However there is no rush. The qualities that I am looking for in my teacher is that he/she is patient, nice/welcomin g and does not rush in what I am learning so I don't forget anything. Also, I hope he/she has a flexible time.
