Coming from an asian family and not knowing their native language, I am very interested and eager to learn mandarin. I have no history at all with learning the language so I would be a beginner. I would love to do a lesson a week since I am also attending UBC and will be currently in other studies. I am looking for an understanding and dedicated teacher, one who tries their best to make their students excel in their areas of interest.

Looking to learn Russian. I have some knowledge in the language for I was taught when I was little however I lost my knowledge for the language and I would like to pick up again. I would prefer meeting at the teacher's house in the late afternoon/eve ning. I would do whatever it takes to learn the full language. I need help with grammer, pronunciation , reading, and writing. So, pretty much I'm a beginner. I'm looking for a female teacher preferably with patience.

I am learning Portuguese because my girlfriend lives in Brazil. My Family is also from Brazil, Hong Kong, and Portugal so I have always wanted to learn. In January I will be visiting Brazil and much of South America and knowing the Language will help I think =]
I am a biginner with Portuguese and a highschool proficcient with Spanish.
Casual conversation and grammar are my weakspots and what I want to learn most.
I'm not working right now, but am looking for a job. When I do find work the time to dedicate to learning will revolve around work, but I'll make sure to study everyday at least a little to keep up with progress.
I want my teacher to be personable, friendly and pacient.
