Hello,
I am planning on going to Kenya soon to work for an aid organization. I would like to learn basic Swahili such as please, thank you, hello, goodbye, I would like, yes, no, etc. so that I may be polite while in Kenya. I have no experience with Swahili and am a beginner. I would like to dedicate a lot of time to my lessons. I would like a teacher that focuses on being able to carry on conversations and basic grammar. Hopefully after taking lessons here in DC, I will learn more Swahili in Kenya and improve.

I am a beginning Swahili student, I am learning the foreign language because I lived in Tanzania and want to go back, but I am not proficient in the language. I need improvement all over!
