I would like to learn sign language for my own interest but also in hopes that it could help me to a find a job as a teacher. I have no background in ASL so I would have to start from the basics. I would like to have lessons once a week with homework assigned to be completed on my own. I am looking forward to start learning some Dutch because I got a job in the part of Belgium that speaks Dutch. My job will be in scientific resarch at the University of Antwerp. I am an absolute beginner for what regards Duth language. I am planning to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to learn Dutch. I definitely prefer in person class (on-to-one or class with several students) to better intercat with the teaher and make sure to be on track and make progress.

Hello!
My name is Christopher Patrick Donoghue.
I' m interested in learning a few different languages for a few different purposes.
Ga elic, for ancestral and for traveling purposes.
Ma ndarin and French because of family and close friend relations, travel and because many people speak Mandarin and French in Vancouver.
P ortuguese because I want to travel to Brazil, and because there are many Brazilians traveling through Vancouver.
I would love to become a flight attendant, tour guide or translator.
Language is a strong academic interest of mine with practical family and career tangents.
I am very dedicated to mastering the fluency of each language.
I know nothing of each language with the exception of French, in which I have some vocabulary and some grammatical understanding .
For lesson time and dedication, I would like about 3 to 5 hours per week; one language at a time.
In my lesson and teacher quality I am looking for someone to help me memorize the rules of reading and writing, and to help me learn to converse easily.
