I am a beginner in Mandarin but not an absolute beginner. My wife is Chinese but we never try to communicate in Mandarin.
I'm interested in learning Mandarin in order to communicate with my wife's family in China.
I'm primarily interested in simple conversation at this point. Currently, I am unemployed so can be rather flexible with my time. I'd prefer to study 4-6 hours per week.
My ideal teacher would be someone with formal training in teaching Mandarin as a foreign language and would have some experience.

I am interested in learning some basic mandarin as I have visited and hope to go again to Beijing with my work. I would like to know a little more about rates and possible hours that Tracy might be available as there may be a group of us at work that would be interested in studying together. We are a group of teachers that may have an opportunity to teach in china. We are provided with translation in china so just want basic conversationa l mandarin in order to be friendly while we are there.
I particulary want help with pronounciatio n especially the tones and am looking for a flexible teacher who can have some fun with my or our struggles. The ideal would be one lesson a week at 4pm at our school in LaSalle(south eastern Montreal) if possible. Some of our group are French first language.

I would like to learn spanish starting with the beginner program. I would love to speak this language because my family and I travel a lot and because i fel in love with this language for the firts time i heard it. I would also like to learn this language for school and career advancement. I would like to dedicate as much time to my language lessons as possible.Anyw here from 2hours-4hours a day.
