Hi, My name is Alyssa. I'm a beginner Japanese and French and have yet to start learning Russian on my own but i wish to know all three of this language. I love the Japanese language and my Hertiage is French and Russian so i think it's important that i take a step in learning these. I'd like to have classes two or three times a week or weekends. Good day,
My name is Tania and I am Portuguese Candian. My first language was Portuguese but I lost it at a young age. I can read and speak very little and write even less. I am traveling to Portugal at the end of May 2005 and wish to learn some common phrases to aid in my travel experience. Once I return I would like to learn the language as a whole. I can dedicate an hour during the evenings to my learning. I am very serious as I wish to teach my children their native toungue as well. I look forward to connecting with you.

I do not know a word of Japanese other than a few different kinds of sushi! I'm going to Japan in July with the JET program, and i thought it would be a good idea to learn the basics of the language before I immersed myself in it.
I would like to dedicate about 6-8 hours/week to my language lessons, but I work full-time so depending on the teacher's availability I don't know if that will be possible.
I'm looking for a teacher who is outgoint, friendly and [atient and who can teach me about the culture of Japan as well as the language. I learn visually so I like written assignments and I love to talk and listen! I'd like lessons that are intensive enough that I can have a fair grasp of the language before I leave in 3 months.
