My daughter is 6 years old and I want her to learn these languages. She is a beginner. I prefer a live person for her as she will learn better. I am looking for a teacher who is gentle, patient, soft spoken, works well with kids and teaches at the level kids can understand. My main goal is to be able to communicate fluently in Fijian to people. My reasoning for this is because my family is from Vanua Levu, Savsavu and I went to Fiji in summer of 2010. This was greatest trip and I made plenty of friends. The problem was that I had no clue what anyone was saying when I went. I have always had a passion for where I come from and I always wanted to learn Fijian. Now I would like to make the first step to learning, I know my basic words and allot of swear words from my visit to my islands in the sun. I would also like to honor my grand father in learning how to communicate in Fijian. I would like to spend around three times a week in lessons because this has now become a top priority because I plan on making a trip next summer in 2013 and would like to know enough to communicate to locals. I'm looking for a teacher that is willing to have the patience and the time to teach me. That's about it!
