Hi there! I am a British/Filip ina hoping to locate a Filipino/Taga log language teacher to help me better communicate with my family and friends in the Philippines, as well as to give me better opportunities to work or study in the Philippines in the future.
I am a beginner (native English speaker) with a little knowledge of general greetings and phrases, and would like to study vocabulary, grammer and speech with a tutor for 1-2 hours per week.
I am looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and chatty and fun to work with - who can set me on the right path for self study.

My partner and I have bought property in Bulgaria and have been holidaying there for several years, this year we were there for a period of 4 weeks and will be returning in 6 weeks. The more we visit the more we realise the need to speak the language, to be able to enter into conversation with our neighbours and friends in their own language. I have been learning the alphabet,my partner has not: we are both needing tuition at the beginner stage.

I was born in Hango Finland and was brought to England at age 3 months. I have now retired and am planning a trip to Finland in 2010. I understand swedish is generally spoken in Finland and I need to be able have a basic vocabulary to get around.
