I wish to learn Swahili as I'm hoping to visit numerous parts of Africa in future years once I've graduated from University. I'm a beginner and therefore have no experience in speaking, reading or writing in Swahili. I'm hoping to have 1-2 hours of lessons per week from now until August. Beginner. I have studied Joan Russel's book: 'Teach Yourself Swahili'.
I am learning Swahili because I have friends in Tanzania and am doing charity work there.
I need practice in conversation.
I would like to spend at least an hour per week having conversation practice, and will continue home learning myself.
I am looking for a teacher who makes me feel comfortable having a go at speaking the language and corrects and explains my errors.
