Hello,
I am a student looking to learn the art of Japanese language. Languages have recently been a passion of mine, and I love to study the different characteristi cs and quriks of a language, I find understanding to be a beautiful thing and strive to one day be able to know a little bit of every language.
I am a beginner in Japanese and have taught myself Hiragana and Katakana, and know very little kanji. I would love to broaden my horizons and hope to be able to have a full conversation. Since I know such basic things, I believe I need work in all fields. I would like to know Japanese not only for personal use but I plan to go to Japan in the near future and would like to be prepared for what lies ahead. I would especially love to be able to read, a future piece of Japanese text I would love to read is 'One litre of tears.
I will dedicate at least half and hour to an hour a day, and three hours or more on the weekend towards learning the language in order to truly get an understanding of the language.

I lived in Israel for a year on and off about 13 years ago. I have been wanting to learn Hebrew ever since. I would like to spend as much time beginning in late July until the beginning of September as possible, learning Hebrew and depending on the cost per class. I am looking for a teacher who is open minded, patient and easy going with me and my pace. I know some Hebrew words, but I cannot put a sentence together, I am a complete beginner. I can travel to Vancouver for classes if need be.
