I am looking to learn the Norwegian language. It has long been a fascination of mine and I hope to one day tour and possibly even live in Norway.
My proficiency is beginner. I know a few words and short phrases.
I 'd like to dedicate a fair amount of time to studying the language (aprox. 2 - 4 nights per week)
I'd like to find a teacher in the West Island in Montreal if possible. I speak English and French.

Hello:
I'm interested in taking beginner Portuguese classes. My husband is from the Azores, and we're relocating to Sao Miguel in September. I would like to devote at least several hours a week to a class, and of course, would like to also have access to some language tapes if possible. It's not easy to find a class that offers continental Portuguese rather than Brazilizn.
As for instruction, I did once sign up for a class at a college in beginner Portuguese, but three of the students were already fluent, and so the class was very fast, so I would like to learn at a slower pace with a patient teacher! I'm a complete beginner, so that's necessary for me.

My friend and I would like to learn Japanese over the summer. The reason is our role model speaks Japanese. We are both beginners, only knowing the basic 'hello', 'yes' and 'thank you'. We would mostly like to learn conversation starters, such as 'how are you' and 'i am fine'. Anytime during the summer for teaching i think would be fine. I would really appreciate your time.
